Runways and forums highlight spring fashion events

The Bay Area takes it's style profile to the next level this month and next , as a series of events kick off around San Francisco including: 

April 28th: Michael Kors Fall 2010 Runway show @ The Westin.   As previously reported iconic American Designer Michael Kors brings his Fall 2010 collection to the stage at The San Francisco Westin hotel in Union Square for a exclusive one night event benefiting the San Francisco Ballet. Tickets start at a tax-deductible  $175 per person and are still available via the San Francisco Ballet website.

April 28th: San Francisco Fashion and Merchants Alliance presents: Twit-Up! Local bloggers Siv Lam(JcrewAholics) Sam Doe(Vino Moda) , and Michelle Ruiz (Modelina Michelle) will be onstage to answer your questions about fashion blogging. 6-9pm at Pigment Cosmetics. SFFMA for more info.

May 5: California College of the Arts hosts, Graduate Program in Design thesis Reception: Tomorrow's most talented designers, and artists celebrate completion of the graduate program. College of the Arts for more info.

Saturday May 8: Academy of Art Spring Fashion Show and Open House. Get to the Academy of Art before noon on Saturday May 8 to score the best seats for the annual fashion show, and get an insider preview of the future of local fashion. Academy of Art for more info.
