Backstage beauty report: Major Minor and Nur Zahra Fall 2014
Direct from Jakarta Fashion Week, Indonesian labels Major Minor and Nur Zahra showed in Tokyo on Wednesday. We went backstage with L'Oreal Nihon and Maybelline to see what Tokyo's pro beauty and hair teams had dreamed up for the brands.
First up, Major Minor.
The look was very sleek, sexy with a touch of 60's thrown in via modern "beehive hair" and a bold cat eye.

For the modern beehives hair was separated into sections and completely straightened using L'Oreal Mystic Oil for a shiny smooth finish.

Next hair was back combed and set in place with Elnet Spray

Finally hair was smoothed over using L'Oreal Texture Expert Whip, as well as L'Oreal London Addixtion Sprax Delight, and give a final spray of Elnet Hairspray.

Nails for the Major Minor show were painted with a light glitter polish and tips were darkened for a modern twist on the French Manicure.

Next for Nur Zahra the models wore traditional Muslim headcoverings in the show, so all that was needed was a smooth bun to go under the pieces. To get this done quickly the L'Oreal team created a braid at the back center of models heads and wrapped it up into a bun.

Once the buns were positioned they were given a light spritz with L'Oreal Elnet spray and it was on to make-up where the look was soft, natural and ever so slightly sunkissed.
