Backstage beauty report: Serpent & The Swan Spring 2015

image:DL Photography for O&MAt the Serpent & The Swan Spring Summer 2015 show, which debuted in Sydney earlier this week, the hair and beauty look was darkly dramatic and heavily influenced by Eastern European mythology and architecture.

Created by O&M Creative director Janelle Chaplan, it was the sleek and sophisticated "cross-parted" hair that really caught my attention.  Here's how it was done:

First, hair was blow dried with a flat brush to smooth. Next hair was given a light spray of O&M Know Knott Conditioning Detangler. Next hair was sectioned, using a fine tooth comb to create "specific straight line partings on the curve." Next hair was slicked into a tight-to-the-head shape using generous amounts of O&M Style Guru Styling Cream. Finally hair was finished with a heavy "painting" of O&M Frizzy Logic Shine Serum.

the parts are really cool, I wonder how hard it would be to do it on yourself though?
