Backstage beauty report: Yasutoshi Ezumi Spring 2014

image:C.Hope for Style WyldeClean architectural lines with just a touch of otherworldly glow was the plan for beauty at the Yasutoshi Ezumi Spring 2014 Show. To get the look the designer tapped the pros from L'Oreal Professional and Shiseido to create a dynamic, yet not overpowering hair and beauty look to perfectly match his exquisite collection. Here is what they did.

First Up, hair.

The team at L'Oreal created a clean side-swept look with a sharp part and a three dimensional wave that wrapped around the head to create structure and interest. To do this, model's hair was blown out and flat ironed using L'Oreal Mythic Oil until COMPLETELY free of any waves or bumps.

Next, a sharp part was created using L'Oreal Texture Expert or Graphic Golden Modeling Gel . Once the part was secure, the team smoothed and built up support using L'Oreal Texture Expert V3 Mousse and then smoothed hair over into a curving wave.

Finally, all flyaways were smoothed and paper wrapped clips were added to keep everything tidy while the model's headed to make-up.

Meanwhile, over on the Shiseido side, the look was clean and fresh using Shiseido Skin Perfector foundation,  accented with a dramatic cat eye. The eye was expertly drawn on with the absolute precision using the Shiseido Automatic Fine Eyeliner Pen.

The result: clean, fresh with just a touch of retro-edge.
