Back Stage Beauty: Tess Giberson Fall 2012
the final look/Image:C.Hope for Style Wylde
Subtle, sleek architectural but yet still organic was the inspiration behind the hair look at Tess Giberson Fall 2012 which was created by the pros at Bumble and bumble. When paired with the beauty look which, was all about fresh glowing skin with just a touch of metallics on the eyes, this look was one of our favorites of the week.
Here's how it was done:

Bumble and bumble lead stylist James Percis and his team began by creating a clean, middle part. Hair was then wetted down with Thickening Hairspray and given a rough blow dry with hands to achieve texture in the hair. Next hair was sectioned on the front of the head into two vertical sections starting behind the ear toward the temple and backcombed lightly while misting Does It All Styling Spray to create more texture. Next hair was gathered into a low ponytail. The ponytail was then flipped up into a loop and secured it with a black elastic.

The final result: Soft, pretty yet still modern and totally DIY-able!
