Weekend round-up: music for a broken budget
Wallet feeling a little light after all that hard partying in Indio? Never fear Wyldies, we are rounding up the best bet music events all under $10 this weekend around the bay including:
Thursday:
In San Francisco, The Knockout has your indie bang for just a few bucks with The Harderships, Mamatus, and a very special surprise guest. 9:30PM $6.
Friday:
Tik Tik Fly, The Downer Party* and The Tunnel converge on Oakland's The Uptown for a night of folk/goth/punk/easy listening /pop rock chaos. Doors at 9PM, No cover. At the same time just a few miles away former lyricist for Da Lench Mob and hip-hop royalty in his own right, Del the Funky Homosapien will be blowing the doors off The Shattuck Downlow in Berkeley for a one night only FREE LIVE PERFORMANCE rumored to include a full band; Doors at 9PM, get there early if you plan on getting in.
While all of that is going down in the East Bay, over in SF it's a Schizophrenic extravaganza with thrash/pop/country vaudeville acts Disasteroid, The Here and Fondue at El Rio. $8 Doors at 9pm.

Local rockers Catholic Radio and The Better Maker are taking over the Make-Out Room in San Francisco for a night of driving indie pop rock/punk fun. $7 Doors at 7. Be sure to check out downloads from the recently released debut album from Catholic Radio here, before the show.
Sunday:
Head on over to legendary 924 Gilman in Berkeley, and get ready to Skank with Columbian Ska/Punk/Reggae act Skampida. If it's been years, or if you have never been at all to the Bay Area's most iconic venue now is the time. The show starts early 4PM, $8 cover.
