Friday 7/15
In SF: "Eclectic line-up" feels like an understatement when trying to describe the pop rock/ambient/surftastic emo/progressive lineup at The Bottom of the Hill featuring The Dear Hunter, Kay Kay and his Weathered Underground, O'Brother, and Naive Thieves. $13 in advance, $15 at the door ALL AGES SHOW.
In the East Bay:
Get your island groove on with reggae all stars Tony Rebel and Queen Ifrica at The Shattuck Downlow in Berkeley. $17 in advance here, or $20 at the door.
Saturday 7/16
IN SF:
Experimental post-punks unite at Hemlock Tavern for a double CD release party featuring Shuteye Unison, Form and Fate, and Glaciers. 9:30PM $7 at the door. Also in SF, Progressive electro-house three piece, Peace Treaty{Dim Mak} make their way to Ruby Skye with DJs Trevor Simpson and St. John.
In the East Bay:
If there is one thing you can count on when it comes to live music in Oakland, it's the legendary Stork Club hosting rockin' shows, and Saturday is no exception as La Toska, Falcon A and Susiniestra deliver a punk/ska/Mexican garage rock extravaganza not to be missed. Doors 8PM $5
