Style haiku

I am just days away from my 35th birthday, and I think my wardrobe needs an overhaul. I can't seem to figure out what is 'age appropriate' now that I am no longer a twnetysomething ( or even in my early thirties!) I know I am not exactly a "Forever 21" anymore, but  do I have to start shopping at Chicos now? How do I balance fashion and the approach to middle age?
