Wednesday wrap-up

Gossip again at Anna Sui/ AP Photo: Stephen CherninWhile a few HUGE corporate  American names are showing today, Wednesday's shows closed out with some of the biggest creative labels out there,  including:

 Anna Sui, showed ity-bity minis, madras plaids. and a few Wednesday-Adams-meets Sgt. Pepper-styles that were as fun as they were in line with Sui's signature rock and roll vibe.

Proenza Schouler went watery in wave-reminiscent  blue and green silks shredded to resemble sea weed shark fins and glittering sea glass. Full slide show here.

Tory Burch showed an uptown girl with a boho heart collection in neutrals with pops of color and the occasional tie-dye touch.  Full slide show here.

Peter Som mixed a variety of era influences ( 50s, 60s ,70's, AND 80's?) looks in pastel colors with chunky accessories and the occasional head wrap.  With anyone else it might have been a hot mess, but somehow the hodgepodge worked well. Full slide show here.

Doo-Ri focused on ruffles, pleats, drapes and darts in a mostly gray tone, that echoed the earliest days of spring when the calendar and the actual weather seem to be in disagreement.  Full video here.
