This past week in Miami was all about the bikini as the largest pool of designers ever in attendance showcased their suits at Mercedes Benz Miami Swim.

Whether it was  teeny-weeny gingham two pieces at Tyler Rose, (pictured left)  1970s Acapulco styles at  Trina Turk (below) or retro wraps at Marysia (right) , one thing was clear bikinis are set to rule the beaches in 2011.
