Runway report: patrick Mohr Spring 2012
Never one to be confined to the accepted boundaries of beauty, Berlin based designer Patrick Mohr put the emphasis on the extreme during his Spring 2012 runway show (which took place yesterday in Berlin) with fluffly pony-tails, way-out their nails and hair-raising brows on both the male and female models.
Although the look was not entirely new, as during the Fall 2011 collections in New York Timo Weiland featured heavy brows and Mara Hoffman inked fingertips, Mohr brought his own brand of whimsy to the look with hyper-exaggerated lines and the incorporation of liquid latex ( or possibly duct tape, it is difficult to determine from images available.)
In it's literal sense, Mohr's beauty look is clearly not one that will work for most people in the real world, although we do expect to see watered down versions of the big bold brows trend to show up more and more as the collections, and the Spring 2012 season continues.
What say you Wyldies? Will you be trying out the mega-brow and alien nails look? Let us know in the comments.
